UTICA – A rally for advocates of public education is planned for Thursday September 17th in conunction with a visit from New York State Vice Chancellor of the Board of Regents, Anthony Bottar, who will be at Oneida-Herkimer BOCES giving a presentation to local superintendents, board of education members and elected officials.
The cause for the rally, which is not the first of its kind, has been noted to be in response to the latest teacher evaluation and testing regulations set by the Regents board.
The rally will take place at 5:45 PM at Oneida-Herkimer BOCES, 4747 Middle Settlement Road in New Hartford.
